One-time planning engagements
A defined piece of work with a defined price, delivered in writing, with no ongoing relationship attached.
The standard one is the Checkup
For most ministry households, the one-time engagement worth doing is the Pastor Retirement Checkup. It is $599 for an individual and $799 for a married couple, it produces written findings you keep, and it is where nearly everyone starts.
Work we scope separately
Some situations go past what the Checkup covers. When yours does, we work out how long it should take and give you one number before we begin. You approve that number first, and if the work turns out to take longer than we thought, that is our problem and not your bill.
Half is due when you approve the scope. The rest when we hand you the work.
- A business you own, or a side practice
- Rental or investment property
- Equity compensation from a spouse's employer
- Property, income, or beneficiaries in more than one state
- A trust, or an inheritance with conditions attached
You will know your number before you agree to anything, and you are billed after the work, not before.
What we do not offer any more. We retired our standalone Comprehensive Financial Plan. In practice, a document delivered once and never revisited did not serve people as well as either a focused review or an actual ongoing relationship. Those are the two things we offer now.
